The vision for Son-Shine Ministries was birthed in 2014. But the actual church structure and Sunday services began in Jan. 2017. This young church desires to create a Godly environment where anyone can experience the Lord's presence and meet Jesus. As a church family, we want to pursue the Father's heart, equip ourselves by the Word of God, and be empowered by His Spirit according to Matt. 22:37. In addition to Sunday services, youth meetings, and weekly Bible studies we are also having a positive impact on the community around us.
We minister to children from a local community of day labourers. The parents cannot afford to send them to school, so we have been regularly providing them with basic education. This is the only way they can escape the vicious cycle of becoming modern-day slaves like their parents. Bible teaching and meals are also given to this group of more than 50 motivated kids. The number of students keeps increasing so we are asking the Lord for wisdom on how to expand and build a more permanent structure. We welcome you to join us in helping God's kingdom grow.
